When Kim Wayne Reid, PT and Curtis B. Jolley, PT founded PerformanceWest Physical Therapy (PWPT) in 1998, they created a new standard of excellence in patient care. Joined by Stuart Sondrup, PT in 2019, the highly skilled physical therapists at PWPT continue to provide Davis County residents quality care and top notch service. With an experienced team of talented specialists in general orthopedics, sports injuries, spine conditions, balance disorders, women’s health, and more, PWPT is passionate about helping you achieve your recovery goals. Kim has been in clinical practice in Bountiful for over 30+ years. He is very proud to have the letters "PT" behind his name, and they are a permanent part of his identity. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and its Orthopedic, Sports and Private Practice Sections. He has served in many positions on a state level, including president of the Utah Physical Therapy Association. Outside of work, he has a passion for time with family and friends, football, mountains and backcountry snowmobiling.

Curtis Jolley, PT, MOMT - Owner -

Curtis graduated in physical therapy from the University of Utah in 1989, and received his Masters in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1993. Curtis treats all orthopedic related conditions, but has a passion for spinal care and manual therapy. He has served in various board positions at the state level of the American Physical Therapy Association, and has served as Chapter President of the Utah PTA. In his free time, Curtis loves spending time with his family, golf and visiting St. George.

Amanda Thompson, PT - Physical Therapist

Areas of Focus:  Manager of Vestibular, Balance and Fall Prevention and Treatment Programs

Amanda graduated from the University of Utah with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with multiple post graduate course work in balance, dizziness and fall prevention treatment. She now specializes in balance retraining, treatment of dizziness and vestibular disorders and fall prevention at PerformanceWest. Amanda is a retired runner and basketball player, but still enjoys mountain biking, cycling, skiing, boating and hiking. She loves to go camping with her husband and three kids, and spends a lot of her time serving as the ultimate soccer mom.

Luke graduated from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and continues to be an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He played soccer and basketball competitively in his youth and has a special interest in general orthopedic and sports physical therapy. He passionately provides attentive and personalized care for patients of all ages with a variety of conditions as the clinic director in Kaysville. When he’s not helping his patients, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, playing and watching sports, boating, and recreating in the beautiful outdoors of Utah.

Glossary of Services

 
  • Comprehensive treatment of the musculoskeletal system.  Includes, but is not limited to, non-operative and post-operative skilled physical therapy care of the Spine (neck, thoracic and lumbar spine), shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee, and ankle/foot.  Also, treatment of headaches and general weakness.

  • We work extensively with athletes to help them return safely to play, and to enhance performance.  We also work with local teams in the care of athletes at all levels.  We offer free screens for athletes, to help determine a diagnosis and appropriate levels of care.

  • Treatment of the spine can be complicated and very frustrating due to pain and limitations resulting from injury and aging.  Our skilled physical therapists can help diagnose and design successful treatment programs to help you with pain reduction, healing and return to function.  We work closely with skilled doctors and surgeons, when needed.

  • Our outstanding balance, fall prevention and vestibular program is operated and managed by Amanda Thompson, PT.  She has developed an outstanding center for treatment of dizziness, BPPV, balance strengthening and home program development to keep you safe.

  • Megan Moss, PT, at our Renaissance Clinic, works with females in pregnancy and post-partum conditions related to carrying a child and trauma from birth.  There are also several conditions that are unique to females which we can successfully diagnose and help you manage and overcome.

  • All clinics are able to see you for work related injuries and physical limitations keeping you from work.  Stu Sondrup, PT, at our Renaissance Clinic, is certified in specific evaluation and treatment of the injured worker.  We work with you to help you return safely to work after injury.  We can also provide onsite ergonomic testing and evaluation.

  • We are able to assist in provision of in home physical therapy, through various companies and our physical therapist connections.
